Besi Netherlands Annual Party

On a Saturday in September colleagues of Besi Netherlands were all invited to the Dutch Open Air Museum in Arnhem. It was a sunny day and the Museum looked lovely. Everybody was in the mood for a special, historical but most of all a relaxed day!

By Petra Evers, the Netherlands

At the entrance everybody received an old fashioned "Survival Package" a Dutch "Knapzak" with some candy and a drink. In the old days, the vagabonds used to carry their food with them in this "knapzak" (a handkerchief with a twig).

But of course there was the famous Dutch Apple pie with coffee too and at the bakery you could bake your own "raisin bun"

After strolling through the Museum for a few hours, everybody could visit "The Canon of Dutch History". A high tech presentation covering the complete history of our country, from "magaliths tot the modern day". Here we were treated to a drink and a little bite.

Of course this beautiful day ended with a BBQ at  the "Kasteelboerderij". A wonderful entourage for dining and a nice conversations with each other.
