Duiven, the Netherlands, January 25, 2016 - BE Semiconductor Industries N.V. (the "Company" or "Besi") (Euronext Amsterdam: BESI; OTC: BESIY, Nasdaq International Designation), a leading manufacturer of assembly equipment for the semiconductor industry, today announced that it repurchased 39,606 of its ordinary shares during the period from Friday January 15, 2016 up to and including Monday January 25, 2016 at a weighted average price of € 16.91 for a total purchase amount of € 669,932. Since September 25, 2015, Besi has purchased a total of 321,988 of its ordinary shares at a weighted average price of € 17.54 for a total purchase amount of € 5,647,451. The share repurchases are part of a buy-back program announced on September 25, 2015.
