Duiven, the Netherlands, February 23, 2016 - BE Semiconductor Industries N.V. (the "Company" or "Besi") (Euronext Amsterdam: BESI; OTC: BESIY, Nasdaq International Designation), a leading manufacturer of assembly equipment for the semiconductor industry, today announced that it repurchased 27,327 of its ordinary shares during the period from Monday February 15, 2016 up to and including Tuesday February 23, 2016 at a weighted average price of € 19.29 for a total purchase amount of € 527,057. Since September 25, 2015, Besi has purchased a total of 407,831 of its ordinary shares at a weighted average price of € 17.70 for a total purchase amount of € 7,217,367. The share repurchases are part of a buy-back program announced on September 25, 2015.
