Duiven, the Netherlands, April 14, 2016 - BE Semiconductor Industries N.V. (the "Company" or "Besi") (Euronext Amsterdam: BESI; OTC markets: BESIY, Nasdaq International Designation), a leading manufacturer of assembly equipment for the semiconductor industry, today announced that it repurchased 24,500 of its ordinary shares during the period from Wednesday April 6, 2016 up to and including Thursday April 14, 2016 at a weighted average price of € 24.36 for a total purchase amount of € 596,809. Since September 25, 2015, Besi has purchased a total of 530,331 of its ordinary shares at a weighted average price of € 18.98 for a total purchase amount of € 10,066,975. The share repurchases are part of a buy-back program announced on September 25, 2015.
