Duiven, the Netherlands, August 15, 2016 - BE Semiconductor Industries N.V. (the "Company" or "Besi") (Euronext Amsterdam: BESI; OTC: BESIY - Nasdaq International Designation), a leading manufacturer of assembly equipment for the semiconductor industry, today announced that it repurchased 24,500 of its ordinary shares during the period from Friday August 5, 2016 up to and including Monday August 15, 2016 at a weighted average price of € 27.24 for a total purchase amount of € 667,456. Since September 25, 2015, Besi has purchased a total of 834,831 of its ordinary shares at a weighted average price of € 21.15 for a total purchase amount of €17,653,162. The share repurchases are part of a buy-back program announced on September 25, 2015.
