Duiven, the Netherlands, September 12, 2016 - BE Semiconductor Industries N.V. (the "Company" or "Besi") (Euronext Amsterdam: BESI; OTC: BESIY - Nasdaq International Designation), a leading manufacturer of assembly equipment for the semiconductor industry, today announced that it repurchased 24,500 of its ordinary shares during the period from Friday September 2, 2016 up to and including Monday September 12, 2016 at a weighted average price of € 28.03 for a total purchase amount of € 686,673. Since September 25, 2015, Besi has purchased a total of 904,831 of its ordinary shares at a weighted average price of € 21.67 for a total purchase amount of €19,607,341. The share repurchases are part of a buy-back program announced on September 25, 2015.
